How Payment Works
I am unable to take insurance at this time, but I can offer a superbill/receipt to receive reimbursement if your insurance offers out-of-network benefits.
I am committed to making therapy accessible. I practice a cost-sharing model that invites folks with greater access to financial resources to take on a higher responsibility of the costs of therapy. Please review the scale below to assess where you may fall and inquire to see whether slots are available at your fee level. Fees can be adjusted to account for debt, dependents, generational wealth, and additional financial factors.
Questions to guide fee assessment
(Adapted from AORTA's sliding scale self-assessment)
Do you or your family own a home?
Have you, or do you expect to inherit money or property?
Are your bills or credit cards set to autopay?
Have you had not had any difficulty affording healthcare or health insurance for yourself or your family members?
Do you have zero to low debt?
Do you have a disposable income?
Do you go on vacations or have investments/assets?
Do you have a safety net of financially resourced family, friends, or community?
Does your income only support you, and not any loved ones?
Have you (or could you have) attended college?
Have you (or could you have) attended graduate school?
If you answered yes to more questions than not, consider paying above your listed fee to offset the costs of someone else's therapy.
If you answered no to more questions than not, please don’t hesitate to inquire about whether a lower fee slot is available than that which is listed for you.
